Canberra COVID-19 case numbers
There have been 52 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday.
Of these cases, 40 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, with 12 under early investigation. 17 of the 52 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, at least 31 spent some time in the community during their infectious period and 4 are under investigation.
Sadly 2 Canberrans in their 80s have died from COVID-19, both in the Calvary Hayden Aged Care facility, Our thoughts and love are with their family and friends at this tough time.
11 patients are currently in hospital, with 3 in intensive care - all are requiring ventilation support.

There were 3,875 tests were conducted in the 24 hours to 9am today at ACT Government and Capital Pathology sites.
