Canberra lockdown – update 21 September

Canberra COVID-19 case numbers

There have been 16 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday. 

Of these cases, all 9 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters and 2 remain under early investigation. 3 of the 16 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, at least 11 spent some time in the community during their infectious period and 1 is under investigation.

Canberra exposure locations 

We have over 300 active exposure locations listed. Please keep an eye on the website.

Canberra COVID-19 testing 

A total of 2,120 negative tests were returned in the 24 hours to 9am today.

More mental health support for Canberrans

We know the past 18 months have been extremely challenging for Canberrans.

A new $14 million mental heath and community health care package will ensure Canberrans can continue to access the support they need throughout the lockdown and into the future.
