Canberra lockdown – update 29 August
There have been 13 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday. All of these cases are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, and 8 were in quarantine during their infectious period.
There are now 230 active cases associated with this outbreak, after 20 cases recovered.
There are 10 patients in ACT hospitals, including 1 receiving intensive care support and ventilation.
Canberra exposure locations
As of 9am this morning, ACT Health is working with over 800 people who have self-identified as close contacts of ACT outbreaks.

Canberra COVID-19 testing
A total 2,074 negative tests returned to Canberrans that were collected across both Government and Capital Pathology sites.
