Canberra COVID-19 case numbers
There have been 28 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday.
Of these cases, 14 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, with 14 under early investigation. 8 of the 28 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, at least 16 spent some time in the community during their infectious period and 4 are under investigation.
Sadly overnight 2 Canberrans have passed away. Both women were in their 80s. On behalf of the ACT community, we send our thoughts and love to their family and friends at this difficult time.
16 patients are currently in hospital, with 5 in intensive care - 1 are requiring ventilation support.

Canberra COVID-19 testing
There were 2,700 negative tests recorded in the 24 hours to 9am today at ACT Government and Capital Pathology sites.
