Canberra COVID-19 case numbers
There have been 40 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday.
Of these cases, 21 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, with 19 under early investigation. 9 of the 40 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, at least 10 spent some time in the community during their infectious period and the rest are under investigation.
16 patients are currently in hospital, with 6 in intensive care - 5 are requiring ventilation support.

More than 4,800 tests were conducted in the 24 hours to 9am today at ACT Government and Capital Pathology sites.
